This Masterclass is rooted in a wisdom that continues to be practiced today.
The perspective shared during our time together comes not from a modern reinterpretation or a collection of books, but from an Indigenous lineage that has preserved this knowledge across generations.
Our intention is not simply to explain the Maya calendar, but to introduce the worldview from which it emerges—one in which time, nature, community, and human life are understood as deeply interconnected.
Â
Modern life gives us endless information about what we should become, yet very little guidance for understanding who we already are.

Tata Alejandro de Santiago is an indigenous medicine medic, curandero, and an Ajq’ij (Mayan priest or day-keeper), of Mayan blood and lineage,
For over 26 years, he’s walked the path of indigenous medicine alongside his Elder teachers, supporting communities across Mexico through traditional medicine.
Part of his expertise lies in the art of soul retrieval and trauma healing. Another focus of his work is helping people reconnect with what the Elders call the Thread of Destiny, or B’atz’ — the deeper sense of meaning and purpose that guides a person’s life.
He leads group sacred ceremonies, speaks to audiences from indigenous communities to NGOs and multinational corporations, and regularly contributes to traditional medicine clinics in Mexico that bring healing to urban and rural communities alike at affordable prices.
His work has included creating projects to raise awareness of indigenous medicine and wisdom alongside institutions, universities, and corporations.
